Mixed Bag

Circuit Training is a one-size-fits all set of exercises, which involves hopping from one station or machine to the next.

It’s a good access point for newbies. And often appeals to people who have been restricted to one discipline. like say spin only, or only yoga. And recognize a need to  expand their repertoire.front of house

Although useful for a period of time the results are superficial.  It’s viable as a precursor to a more impactful personalized workout strategy.

Yoga tonight with Ian. Ciao, PietroIan yoga 1

Some seem to think their intellect is what matters. Nothing could be further from the truth. The intellect is pretty much a useless mechanism.

Voila :)

Vastly more interesting are the glutes. A gorgeous butt, trust me, is  a more persuasive and influential way to win friends and influence people.

And they hold you up! They have a practical application. The glutes are where your thrust comes from, not your intellect. They give you stability, power, security…

So shut up and squat:) Ciao, Pietro

Boosting Your Immunity

You don’t need supplements in the summer. Just eat well and exercise regularly. But in the winter your immunity system needs extra help.vitamin-d-supplements

Right now I’m taking Omega-3 oil jell-caps.  And Vitamin D drops. Liquid form! And Vitamin C used strategically.  Right now in powder form, mixed in a glass of water. And a Vitamin B shot at my yearly doctor’s appointment.

Friday Yoga with Ian this week. And Saturday Abs. And don’t forget about Weight-lifting Tuesdays.

Ciao, Pietro
