We offer 3 types of classes. All of which are unique to Panacea Studio, and filling a void that no gym offers.

Heavy Lifting Tuesdays is the most visually impact-ful, the sexiest, of any class anywhere, that I know of. It consists of 6 sets of bench press, for developing the upper body; 6 sets of squats, for sculpting and defining the butt and legs. And the 3rd station involves a little personal training, working on whatever the individual most requires.

It might be a good ideal to take a long, hot, salt-water bath the next day.

Saturday Abs will make your mid-section sore for days. And has been successful from the start. Who doesn’t want to flatten their gut? It’s all about the mid-section, strengthening the obliques and lower and upper back. And includes 3 sets 12122550_10156094895215316_7904036282749563969_nof squats.

Friday night yoga is another vital component. By holding poses longer, and repetition of certain positions which provide profound results, my Yogic Stretching Drills will leave you feeling amazing the next day. I alternate with Ian, who brings a freshness and depth of experience to every class.

What really makes Panacea special is you. The people who attend. All classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes, and include a delicious and health smoothie. The room is warm and intimate, with a 13-matt capacity.

We are a workout studio that trains a dozen or so people at a time. Off-ice Hockey Training is a combination of Abs, Heavy Lifting, Stick-handling Drills, and Hockey Yoga.

Come check out a class-in-process for only $7. Bring your son or daughter or a player to Abs, Heavy Lifting, or Hockey Yoga. Peter is a big believer in parents working out with their offspring, and does so with his own kids .

Peter Gault is a 57 year old personal trainer who played hockey with the likes of Wayne Gretzky, and many other pros. He’s been training hockey players and their parents ever since.

Squats, bench press, hand and forearm strengthening. This is the next best thing to personal training.

Diet and exercise is a powerful combination. If you get both right the transformation is almost instantaneous. For a personal trainer, such a blossoming is glorious to behold…

Get one or the other on track, weight loss and aesthetic improvement still happens but the results aren’t as dramatic. Once you start making healthy changes in one area it usually spreads to other areas.

Don’t undo all your hard work by eating badly. The mid-section always looks best after an Abs Class. You don’t want to screw that up with Crappy Dinner, or some other disgusting gluten-feast.

$60 a session for a 12-pack + tax
$70 a session for a 1-Off + tax

Don’t Be A Recluse

Due to my injured arm yoga is cancelled this Friday. Instead we’re meeting for drinks at Mugshots, 8 pm. On the south-east side of Bloor and Keele. Come join us!

There is no class like Heavy Lifting Tuesdays anywhere. I added another squat/bench press rack so that we have 3 stations. One for squats, one for bench press, the 3rd station is where the personal training comes in. a1890365-7287-4fa9-9e02-227139e27c8b_blog_ln_

I quickly access the individual’s highest priority. That’s usually abs, unless you were at Abs Class on Saturday. If you did come Saturday you’re probably too sore for another assault so soon. For those people it’s yogic drills or curls or shoulder presses or whatever.

Don’t be a recluse. We’d love to see you Friday at Mugshots. Let see how well you clean up.
