First you decide to make an effort. Without commitment, nothing happens. Steadfast resolve gets you there faster, almost instantly.
Go back to guiding principles that worked in the past. Get rid of cereal. And the cow or soya or almond milk that goes with it.
And don’t eat when you first get up. Wait a bit. Give your stomach a chance to be empty and shrink. If you eat a lot first thing, you’ll be hungry all day.
Hold off. Maybe just water and metamusal or psyllium. Drive the kids to school, or take your shower and put on your make on.
Then fruit or a smoothie for breakfast. The morning ritual sets the standard for the rest of the day. It starts you paying attention.
These are my supplements at the moment. Because I’m on a cycle of herbal laxatives, I take a generous amount of probiotic, in this case Acidophilus. Be sensible. Used wisely a regiment of fiber every now-and-then, depending on your body’s compatibility, not only jump stars a diet but eliminates the precondition for most forms of cancer (my humble opinion).
Also I’m taking “Green Coffee Beans” because Dr Oz raved about it for weight loss. And it diminishes your appetite.
Only 1 full meal a day ideally. Between 1 and 3 in the afternoon. Nuts and fruits such as grapes, or mango and papaya to fill in the gaps. Half decent carrots with the green stalk.
Letting go of those Wunderbars is the easiest part. It’s almost a relief to be rid of them – and that alone is enough to bring about a positive result.
Do I even need to say this? You have to workout for an hour a day 6 days a week!
Most don’t do enough. Salud, Pietro
