Don’t underestimate how adverse weather wrecks havoc on our bodies. The muscles, the entire skeletal system, constricts in an attempt to escape the assault.
The joints – knees, hips, lower back, whatever your weakness – screeches in agony. The calves cramp. The jaw clenches. The stubborn agony of tennis and golfer’s elbow a nagging reminder of getting older.
What’s the solution? Believe me, I’m not saying this just because I happen to be hosting Very Warm Yoga tonite. Give your muscles, and your soul, the deep penetrating heat of hot yoga. This will give more relief to ailments of extreme weather than any passive therapy.
And, more importantly, administered by Olia. Olia makes you hurt. She has her own unique style. For one thing, she doesn’t use a mat. She wanders between casting her poses. And transports you with her verbal journey.
Which means I can get an extra mat in. You should come.
Ciao, you’re favourite personal trainer, Pietro
