Aromatherapy and Yoga

An infusion of Frankincense during hot yoga does something for the soul. You enter a healing lineage like a deep winding root going down into the earth for thousands of years.

It’s not a manufactured compound like most commercial incense – which are by no means great for the lungs but nevertheless creates an inviting atmosphere.

No, this is the consecrated incense mentioned in the Hebrew Bible and Talmud and traded in North Africa and Arabian Peninsula for 5000 years. And used as medicine for treating arthritis, healing wounds, strengthening female hormones, purifying the atmosphere of germs and bringing good health.

Paula incorporates this aromatic resin into yoga on Friday nights. We now have 3 classes a week at Panacea Studio. Wednesday and Friday night classes at 7:30 pm. And a tough grinding abs class every Saturday morning at 10 am. For people who are serious about reducing the midsection.

Come join us. Ciao, Pietro

The Pleasure Principle On Fridays Nights

If you like something, do a lot of it. That’s the best place to start. Whether it’s yoga or spin or making love 6 times a night, it doesn’t matter. If you’ve got the mojo, make that your entry point.

And build on it. Allow it to evolve. Don’t get stuck there. The working out supports the mojo and the mojo supports the working out. Less isn’t more; not in this case. More is better. Why not make use of the most powerful force in life? For your own benefit and for the sake of others.

If you like it, do it.  That’s why we’re adding an extra class Friday nights at Panacea Studio. It’s a feel-good thing. It feels good during and after. If you’ve ever tried one of Olia’s classes you know what I’m talking about.

Feeling good is worth it. Pietro

This Saturday

I know you know you don’t do enough abs. And I know you know I know you don’t enough abs. So there, you bunch of slackers.

Those perfunctory sit-ups most people do at the end of their workout aren’t worth squat. Don’t even bother.  Save up all your abs for once-a-week at Panacea. And do a thorough job.

So that the impact is irrefutable. One hour of grinding cardio and resistance training via your abs, and you’ll feel a tautness in the mid-section the rest of the day. And soreness the next day, in a good way.

At 10 am.

Next week is the last chance for $60 packages. I mean it this time. It’s only going up to $90. Still a great deal.

Ciao, Pietro

Pounding Down The Bubble-gut

You can tell intensive ab work is beneficial by the sense of elation afterwards.  It disperses the corrosive tension that accumulates in the solar plexus, and gets that stagnant energy circulating throughout your body again.

Aesthetically, health-wise, even psychologically it does wonders. Healthy organs are soft and pliable. Unhealthy ones rigid. The liver a brick. The intestines swollen and deformed.

Nobody has the stubborn patience to do on their own what we’ll be doing at Core N Stretch starting this Saturday. Get your cardio by methodically pounding the mid-section from every angle. And discover a youthful renewal of will power, and improved will to live.

If you haven’t arranged to reserve your spot in advance for Hot Yoga, do so now. See you tomorrow nite. And Saturday at 10 am for Core & Stretch with Pietro.

Ciao, Pietro
